Day trip to Kamakura (buddha statue) and Enoshima (on the water). Could see lower part of Mt Fuji.
Day trip to Nara and Shigaraki
Tea planation at Shiraraki. Also saw pottery kiln with lots of statues throughout the town of racoons, frogs and owls. Saw big buddha in a building at Nara, biggest in Japan (no photos allowed)

Saw the grounds of peace park. Took train and ferry to Miyajima Island

Kanazawa
Tour of Kanazawa, Omicho Markets, Kenrouken Gardens (top 3 in Japan), Kanazawa Castle ruins, Nomura Samurai House, Higashi Chaya district. 28th: Day trip to Shirakawa and Takayama in the mountains (UNESCO heritage villages).
Ryokan Ryuguden
Stayed in a ryokan on Lake Ashi. Traditional Yukata dress. Bathed in hot springs.

Arrived Tokyo, had 2 days before tour started. Tour started on 21 March. Had tea at a Flower Tea House. Took train over the rainbow bridge with views over Tokyo Bay. Went to Imperial Palace grounds and old fish market. On tour we went to temples and shrines, shinto gates, old Cemetery.
